Samson, one of the greatest stories of the Bible, is coming to home entertainment on Blu-ray^™ combo pack, DVD, and Digital on May 15 from Pure Flix. The film will be released into the general consumer market by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.

The film stars Taylor James as Samson and Caitlin Leahy as Delilah. The cast also includes Billy Zane (Titanic), Golden Globe® winner Rutger Hauer (Blade Runner, Batman Begins), Emmy winner Lindsay Wagner (Bionic Woman), and Jackson Rathbone (Twilight).

Released in theaters last February, Samson is based on the powerful biblical epic of a champion chosen by God to deliver Israel.

“Most people have heard parts of Samson’s story. They know that Samson had long hair, Delilah cut it off, and that he lost his strength,” director Bruce MacDonald notes. “But there’s so much more. Samson was an unwilling hero, and his journey to regain his faith — and the whole Samson story — is relevant today.”
