Storytime

During its temporary closing, Museum of the Bible is offering something for children. Every Tuesday, the museum broadcasts Storytime live on Facebook to share Bible stories, with online activities for children. Parents and teachers are using the free Storytime video series as a fun, educational tool for kids stuck at home.

In the first episode, a Living History Interpreter at the museum shares the story of Noah and the Ark. Kids can print corresponding coloring pages and share the fun online using #StorytimeatMOTB and #MuseumFromHome.

The museum is continually adding to its repertoire of stories, including the Story of Passover, the parting of the Red Sea, Jonah and the Big Fish, David and Goliath, and The Samson Story. When the museum is open, it regularly hosts Storytime in the Courageous Pages children’s area and The World of Jesus of Nazareth exhibit space.

Until Museum of the Bible reopens, you can visit it on Facebook for Storytime every Tuesday at 1 p.m. EST.
