On this year’s World Mental Health Day, Fathom Events will release the teen drama What Rhymes With Reason for one night only to more than 650 theaters nationwide. The October 10 showing begins at 7 p.m. local time and includes a special message from the filmmakers sharing their passion for stories that address the mental health challenges facing today’s youth.
What Rhymes With Reason is reflective of other coming-of-age classics like The Breakfast Club, Stand By Me, and The Goonies to tell a timeless story of hope for the youth of today. The film’s trailer runs the gamut of emotion, exploring mental health through the trials and triumphs of modern teenagers.
The family-friendly film follows six teens, led by the charismatic Jesse Brandt. Tragedy ignites the group on a quest to find a legendary landmark hidden in the Oklahoma wilderness. Together, they navigate the adventure while confronting the darkness within themselves.
