As Christians, we put our faith in God because we know that He is faithful to us and loves and protects us. God\u2019s faithfulness is what our whole faith is based on, and faith is the foundation of Christianity.<\/p>\n
Psalm 37:3 says, \u201cTrust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness\u201d (NKJV throughout). God\u2019s faith in us is why we continue to thrive where we are. We feed on His faithfulness, and it sustains us.<\/p>\n
God is faithful and merciful to us. We should remember to praise Him for this because we would be lost otherwise. \u201cHe has remembered His mercy and His faithfulness to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God\u201d (98:3). Wherever we go, we can see God\u2019s faithfulness if only we look for it. His faithfulness is everywhere because He loves each one of us. His promises are true, and His plans are in motion everywhere.<\/p>\n
God\u2019s faithfulness is great and wonderful, and it is abundant \u2014 like His love! \u201cYour mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds\u201d (36:5). Even when we go through hard times, His faithfulness plays a part. Maybe it\u2019s a test. Maybe He is keeping us from making a bad decision, or maybe He\u2019s simply afflicting us so that we can grow into something better. \u201cI know, O Lord, that Your judgments are right, and that in faithfulness You have afflicted me\u201d (119:75).<\/p>\n
In a world like ours we must remember God\u2019s faithfulness and how reliable it is. I<\/span>t is our light and where we place our hope.<\/p>\n \u201cYour faithfulness endures to all generations; You established the earth, and it abides\u201d (v. 90). In hard times, we must remember that God was faithful to Abraham and Noah and that He will be faithful to us as well. This is our refuge and comfort.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Abrianna Sandy<\/strong> is 13 years old and has six siblings. She lives in Michigan and attends the Church of God (Seventh Day) in Owosso and the Church of God Fellowship Lansing. Abrianna likes reading, writing, and drawing and has an interest in psychology.
