Creation Waiting<\/strong><\/p>\n

(Romans 8:21)<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is a serene October midnight,<\/span><\/p>\n

a full moon rides the ragged clouds,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

ducking behind them, almost brushing\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

the swaying tips of trees now.<\/span><\/p>\n

The night is cold with a biting\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

breeze, but still I linger, snug in my\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

toque and woolen coat,<\/span><\/p>\n

my eyes trained on that perfect,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

shiny coin in the sky,<\/span><\/p>\n

how it can beautify<\/span><\/p>\n

the mystery of the dark\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

and the darkened woods,<\/span><\/p>\n

the higher branches dancing<\/span><\/p>\n

with the moon.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sycamore, elm, willow,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

white birch…<\/span><\/p>\n

their arms reach up,<\/span><\/p>\n

limbs stretching as if to embrace\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

the stars with praise,<\/span><\/p>\n

stretching toward JESUS<\/span><\/p>\n

with relentless anticipation,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

all that He fashioned awaiting<\/span><\/p>\n

the liberation He has prepared–<\/span><\/p>\n

Robes washed white in the LAMB’S blood\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As incorruptible consumes corruptible<\/span><\/p>\n

As Christians rise up in the air.<\/span><\/p>\n
